Congestion is a carefully formulated herbal tincture combining traditional European herbs long associated with seasonal transitions and upper body comfort. This blend brings together flowers, leaves and roots that have been respected in Western herbal practice for generations.

The Botanical Blend

Each 5ml serving contains extracts of:

  • Yarrow (Achillea millefolium) – traditionally used in seasonal preparations and valued in European herbal traditions.

  • Eyebright (Euphrasia officinalis) – historically associated with preparations supporting the head and sinus area.

  • Bayberry (Myrica cerifera) – traditionally included in warming herbal blends.

  • Ribwort Plantain (Plantago lanceolata) – long respected in folk herbalism for its association with the throat and mucous membranes.

  • Elderflower (Sambucus nigra) – widely used during seasonal change in traditional European practice.

  • Skullcap (Scutellaria lateriflora) – valued for its gentle balancing qualities in traditional herbal systems.

This tincture contains 42% alcohol to ensure effective extraction and preservation of the plant constituents.

Traditional Seasonal Herbal Support

In traditional Western herbalism, certain botanicals were used during periods of seasonal transition when environmental changes influenced daily comfort. Flowering herbs such as elderflower and yarrow were commonly included in seasonal preparations, often combined with plantain and eyebright.

Alcohol-based tinctures allow these botanicals to be concentrated in a convenient and rapidly absorbed liquid form.

Directions for Use

Take 5ml three times daily in a small amount of water as a food supplement.
